About Us
Love God with all your heart, mind and soul
I am a Christian women and I like to write about the word of God, the Bible, and how it touches my heart, mind and soul. This is why I named this blog “Her Heart for God”. I am interested in delving into the scriptures to see what God has to say to us.
How the Bible speaks to women is of particular interest to me. I am interested in encouraging women to serve Christ and the church with all their gifts. I believe God calls women to all types of services in the Church.
Our values
Word of God
Reading the Bible is essential to our relationship with God
Equality
We are all made equal before God
Service
God calls us to serve him in all things
I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6)
The God of the universe came to us
Community of God
Our God cares about us deeply, he actually came on this earth to show himself to us and to be with us. His name is Jesus.
Liberation from oppression
Jesus came to free the oppressed. He came to save us from the oppression of our sin. But he also came to subvert the oppressive structures of this world. Jesus sets us free.
Hope for a new creation
Jesus makes us new, he transforms us deeply by sending his Holy Spirit.
